The NeuraConnect Lab at the University of Georgia’s School of Chemical, Materials, and Biomedical Engineering is currently recruiting healthy adults and adults with mild cognitive impairment for a non-invasive brain imaging study using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS).
🔬What you’ll do:
Participants will complete iPad-based neurobehavioral tasks that assess cognition, motor function, sensation, and emotion while wearing a comfortable, helmet-like fNIRS device that measures brain oxygenation.
📍What to expect:
- Two sessions, each lasting 1.5 to 2 hours
- Conducted on the UGA campus
- Participants will receive $50 per session (up to $100 total)
